Our history

 

La Policlínica de Bebés is a unique space in Barcelona created in 1946 by Maria Mestres Rigol, the mother of the current owner of the store, at the age of 21 years. The Policlínica was created to respond to emergencies and needs to repair and restore dolls and stuffed animals, receiving our patients all kinds of treatments and care to regain their health .

At the Policlínica de Bebés, we also deal with everything related to aesthetics, hairdressing or accessoires of customers, we also tailormake clothes and shoes for our clients 

Among our patients are different dolls, like: Mariquita Perez , Giseles and Pepas Catalanas , as well as other with German and French origins. And they can be made of many materials , the most common would be: porcelain , wax , vinyl, cement and celluloid, although we also have had patients made ​​of banana skin .
